ILLNESS POLICY
FERN LEAF ABA IS FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID-19.
WE ARE SO THANKFUL!
We will continue to to follow these guidelines unless otherwise advised by the resources listed below.
We at Fern Leaf ABA take our clients’ and our employees' health and safety very seriously. Moreover, we want to keep ourselves and our families safe and healthy! Due to the nature of our consulting roles, Fern Leaf ABA employees are at a moderate risk of spreading contagious illnesses when there is an outbreak in an area where we live or work. For these reasons, we have developed this policy to reduce the chance that we come in contact with and/or spread contagious illnesses.
Employees of Fern Leaf ABA will comply with the following illness policy, and they will work with the standards requested by any government body, agency, or client that they are working with. Fern Leaf ABA employees use hand sanitizer or wash their hands before and after every visit. During this COVID-19 outbreak, we will also wear masks during every visit.
Fern Leaf ABA employees avoid visits when they are sick AND avoid visiting settings that may be contagious.
If there is a known, contagious illness in a community that a consultant frequents (professionally or personally), then that consultant will take and record their temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation levels before any visit related to Fern Leaf business.
If there is a known illness in your area, our employees may call ahead and ask if any clients or staff are sick.
If we arrive at a visit and discover that someone is ill, then our employees have the option to end the visit at that time.
If a Fern Leaf ABA employee is sick, then they are asked to communicate that information in a timely fashion with the appropriate staff and/or team members.
